Mentorship

Mentor relationships can be an important and rewarding part of our professional lives. Early in your career you may wish advice to help guide you in your career development. Throughout your career there is great value in networking and continuing to seek the advice of colleagues, as well as mentoring those who are new to the profession. Experienced professionals understand the importance of acting as mentors to facilitate succession planning for the next generation of leaders.

CEC Program Participants

You may already have a mentor that you look to who can help you choose your CEC activities. For those who do not, this site offers a directory of mentorship programs in Canada to help you in find a suitable mentor in your area. You are not required to have a mentor to participate in the program.

CEC Mentors

CEC Mentors help the program participants to devise a Continuing Education plan, advising on suitable areas of concentration and suitable activities that participants may undertake. The aim is to help participants complete the certificate through the studies and activities that will most help them in their careers. The reward may be the pride of helping someone succeed, a meaningful contribution to the future of the profession, or possibly a lifelong friendship. If you would like to act as a mentor, please contact a representative of a suitable mentorship program from the directory of mentorship programs in Canada.
